Grant has been a Professional for six years, becoming a fully PGA qualified Class A member in 2004. Grant started his career as Assistant Professional at East Berkshire Golf Club where he spent 3 years coaching, was instrumental in setting up the Junior Academy and was proud to have coached members of the BB+O County Colts. Grant was awarded distinctions in his final P.G.A teaching exams.

Grant then moved to America to accept Head of Instruction at Longshore Golf Club, Connecticut where he provided private tuition for all ages and abilities. Grant also coached the local high school, offered group lessons and was the Head Instructor for the summer camp.

Grant has over his career competed at a high level, at seventeen became Castle Royles Men’s Club Champion and competed on the Diatsu National Junior Tour. As a Professional, Grant has played and supported the BB+O and South Region and competed on satellite tours around the world, including the North Florida Tour.

Since qualifying Grant has been building his knowledge of the modern swing and has been lucky enough to have worked with the Leadbetter Academy in Orlando Florida, as well as some other top coaches in the world.

Grant appreciates the benefits of biomechanics which gives him an excellent understanding of the principles of flexibility, mobility, power, strength and balance to help improve your game. Grant is also trained in sports psychology and teaches how to relax and control anxiety by applying them to pre-shot routine.

Constantly training and educating himself Grant keeps ahead of professional development programs and theories to provide the most up-to-date tuition and has been NSPCC certified.

Grant has competed at a high level and gained experience from some of the best professionals in the World including the Leadbetter Academy. However, now finds his greatest satisfaction in coaching all abilities from beginners to professionals and introducing people to the game he loves.

Grants passion lays with coaching and getting the best out of those he teaches. He believes golf should be fun, and keeps his teaching as uncomplicated as possible and above all thinks that a golf lesson should be a positive and enjoyable experience

During these sessions Grant can help improve the scoring department of your game where shots are easily lost, so let him help you on what is a major part of the game to lowering those scores.
