Declan Malone - Director of Coaching

Declan joined the P.G.A in 1994 and is a Class AA member. He now has over 14 years experience within the golf industry, including Retail Management, Hospitality Days, Tuition Holidays and a passion specifically for Coaching. Respected for his coaching skills, Declan has gained his knowledge through research and working with some of the world's top instructors - including David Leadbetter, Dennis Pugh and David Peltz.

As the Director of N1GOLF Declan oversees the running of all the academies, Declan is still keen to help all standards of golfers and has a particular interest in Corporate and Individual coaching. Bookings are strictly by appointment.

Grant Sayer - Teaching Professional

Grant has been coaching with N1GOLFsince it started, and in that time has gained a great reputation in the area. Grant relishes helping golfers of all abilities, from a complete beginner to a scratch golfer in fulfilling their golfing targets. By using the N1GOLF Evaluation Grant can personally customise lessons and practice sessions built around how much time the player has.

In 2004 Grant became a qualified P.G.A. Professional, gaining perfect marks in the swing Theory and practice examination. He then spent time coaching in Westport Connecticut as head of instruction at the Longshore Club. During his time in America Grant competed to a high level on the mini tour circuit competing on the North Florida Tour.

Paul Harrison - Teaching Professional

Paul, 44, is a PGA Advanced Professional in his specialist field of golf coaching. This award by The Professional Golfers Association recognises his specialisation and places him in the top 100 coaches in the UK.  At present, the PGA has awarded advanced status to only 173 professionals across all spheres of the profession out of a total number in excess of 7,500 in the United Kingdom.

Paul uses his knowledge and experience to provide his clients with an extensive set of learning solutions to tap into. These include the use of Instinctive Golf techniques, cSwing Digital Video, the revolutionary Explanar Training System and Sustainable Peak Peformance mental game techniques.

These are all delivered with the energy and enthusiasm of someone who is passionate about his work.  Paul’s coaching motto “committed to excellence and the needs of the individual” sums up his philosophy.
 
 
Will Alsop - Teaching Professional

Will has been a qualified member of the Professional Golfers Association since 1995. He started his experience of coaching with former Ryder Cup player John Garner at Carden Park near his home town of Chester. He decided to follow a full time career in coaching after representing his county at junior and senior level, which led him to work at Guildford Golf Club as their senior assistant professional.

He has also worked as a coach with another former Ryder Cup player John Cook and in the past 5 years has been improving his knowledge of all aspects of the modern game such as flexibility/stability and fitness, psychology, nutrition, short game, intuitive skill, practice techniques, putting and playing skills/course stratergy.

 

 

 
Mark Griffiths - Teaching Professional

Mark Griffiths is an elite golf instructor. He has been a P.G.A. Golf Professional for 16 years,starting his career as the assistant at nearby Sonning GC. His last 9 years coaching with CGA, clearly Mark is one of the most highly trained coaches in the UK and leading the way in instinctive golf.

Marks experience allows him to coach the complete beginner to top amateur and professionals, catering for all ages children to seniors.

 

 
 
James Partridge - Teaching Professional

James has been coaching for a number of years in which time he has developed an excellent reputation as an all round coach. James is happy teaching players of all standards, from absolute beginners, to accomplished players. James has coached group and individual sessions on the practice ground, short game area, putting green, as well as playing lessons on the course. The latter concentrating on course management and methods on relaxation and control through simple and effective routines.

James has a true passion for coaching and his friendly nature and ability to communicate his views in a simple and effective format allows him to coach pupils of all ages and abilities. James treats each pupil as an individual helping them to reach their own potential and ensuring his lessons are a fun and enjoyable experience for all.
