| Richard Brockhurst - Teaching
Professional |
I am young, enthusiastic and outgoing with a wide experience in golf. Whilst I am seriously passionate about enabling others to improve their game, I also believe that process should be fun. I enjoy working with golfers from all backgrounds and abilities. With a keen interest in how the golf swing works, I believe that all golfers can take something from tour professionals and implement it into their own game if that is coupled with the determination to learn, improve and see results.
I turned professional in 2002 after enjoying a competitive amateur career, becoming a fully qualified PGA professional having trained as an assistant at Buckinghamshire Golf Club under Ryder Cup player John O’Leary. I have spent the last 2½ years caddying on the European Tour, Asian Tour and in The Open. This has given me the invaluable experience of working intently with one player, involved in his training with Leadbetter and developing his confidence. Being able to talk with the very top players and witness first hand their techniques, routines and mental attitude has given me unique insights into all aspects of the game. |
