Steve Furlonger

Steve gained a passion for Golf as a junior of a Surrey club where he was junior club champion and junior captain for two years. He then went on to represent four clubs at county level in their scratch team. From there on, Steve was hooked and started to pursue his dream to become a top Golf coach.

Steve spent two years being trained by the PGA and gained his level two License in Coaching Golf (ASQ). During this time he was mentored and trained by two top European Tour coaches.

After 9 years, Steve has built up one of Surrey's largest junior Golf academies. Currently, two of his pupils are attending Merrist Wood Golf College and two of his golfers are in the Surrey County Futures team. To date, Steve has helped over 4,000 golfers learn and improve their Golf skills.

My coaching philosophy is simple: Don't reinvent the wheel, just make it spin! I like to utilise what my golfers have and, by simple method, make them play to the best of their ability.
