John McCartney

John is a class AA Professional and is continually improving his teaching technique by attending numerous courses and seminars. He has put less emphasis on his playing in order to develop and improve his passion, coaching! As a junior though, John won his county championship 2 years running a held the course record on his home course.

John uses an enthusiastic style to make a fun and enjoyable learning atmosphere, where everything is explained in a clear way that gives you an understanding of the 'how' and the 'why' in golf. He looks at the best swing to suit the individual rather than getting an individual to fit a method. John teaches golfers of all ages and abilities and tailors his lesson structure around what the particular individual wants to achieve.
