ON THE COURSE TUITION

After you've spent hours practising your swing on the range it can be very frustrating if your score does not change. If you want further help to lower your scores then a playing lesson is a great starting point.

Learn Course Management skills from your professional and you will begin to see that score decrease.

A lesson on the range looks closely at your swing and helps you to understand it. A playing lesson teaches you how to play golf. It is a time to put into practise those many hours spent on the range. It is not a time to analyse your shots.

A lot of players prefer this type of lesson believing it to be more beneficial to their game. This also gives the professional the opportunity to assess the weaknesses in an individual’s all round game and develop a long term programme for improvement on the Range.

During a playing lesson a professional will look at:

• Assessing the weather
• Understanding terrain or lie of the ball and justified stances
• Selecting the correct club
• Selecting your shot
• How to judge distances
• Learning the rules of golf as they arise
• Play etiquette
• How to keep up with play
• Relaxation technique and being patient
• What to practise on the range

A playing lesson is a fantastic way to develop your game.
