Gareth Ward – Professional Golf Coach

I turned Professional in 2001 after a successful amateur career, during which I represented BB&O County, and had the honour of playing alongside Luke Donald.

I qualified as a Class A PGA Coach in 2004. This put me in a fortunate position where I was able to learn not only the techniques that have been proven over the last 30 years, but also the modern techniques that we all see used by the Top Professionals.

I joined Heythrop Park from Northwick Park Driving Range in London, Harrow. This is where I worked as a full time coach, coaching players of all abilities from Professionals to complete beginners. In my time at Northwick Park I coached many groups of children, taking them from complete beginner to competing in Junior events around the country. I also had the honour of coaching the Middlesex Under 13s squad where I improved and nurtured some of the county’s most talented Juniors.

I regard myself as an extremely approachable and friendly person who specialises in coaching players of all abilities. I am extremely passionate about golf and take great pride in my work, as I understand how important golf is to anybody playing the game. My “Goal” for every lesson is to make sure the customer goes away understanding exactly what is required for them to improve and, more importantly, that they are HAPPY.
